Heart Shaped Crayons

I saw this adorable idea on Pinterest and  need a easy Valentine gift for my primary boy and girls for valentines day. There were lots of versions so I decided to link to just Pinterest that showed all the versions.

I found it easiest to use a knife to slice and get the paper off in one piece. Then for there I just broke the pieces in to 4 or 5 pieces. I was able to find a heart mold at Walmart in the valentine section for $3.50. It worked just perfectly. I bought the big pack of crayons from the dollar store.  The temp that I ended using was a 300 degree oven for 20 min.Your crayons will be melted. Carefully take out of ove so you do not mix the colors.

Have fun with this is very easy. Wishing all my readers a SWEET and
Happy Valentines Day!!! Hugs

Valentine Box Tutorial

I know it been about three weeks since I  last posted. I wanted to do a Valentine box tutorial for you. With Valentine day coming up there is always that special some one that you need a gift for. What a better gift to give than a handmade box filled with candy.

You can embellish your box any way that you would like. I used my image form Digi Stamp Boutique. It  in the new January digis called valentine set. All of these digis would be darling on this box.

I used my new sizzix die for the flowers called flowers 3 D. It the one that cost about 20 dollars. Sizzix also make another one that is more expensive flowers are bigger on that. AI assemble my die flower with a big craft glue dot. I found it was best to get the flower all rolled up then let it unwind add the glue dot to the bottom it holds the flower really well. Add another glue dot to attach to your box. I took red Studio G glitter glue and add to my edges.

On my second box I just used a Marianne design Creatable die cute and scollop punches to make my flower then add a sizzix rose. The leaf punch used on both boxes is a Martha Stewart.

Well I hope I inspired you with my tutorial. Cherish the ones you love by making them something SWEET. Be sure to checkout my give away on My Memories Suite on the post below for a chance to win. HUGS
